Cleveland Office Building: Meticulous Brickwork and Restoration
In August 2024, we completed the restoration of an office building in Cleveland within a month and a half. This project involved meticulous masonry work, caulking, re-pointing, and chimney restoration to improve both the structural integrity and the exterior appearance of the building.
Our team expertly re-pointed joints and re-caulked problem areas, alongside removing, replacing, and restoring areas of failing brick. The mortar color was chosen to complement the existing structure. We were able to maintain the building’s original appearance and integrity by carefully selecting materials that seamlessly integrated with what was being preserved.
We also partially removed the chimney and rebuilt it with a new metal cap. This involved demolishing and reconstructing the chimney using matching brick and mortar for cohesion and structural support. We tailored each phase of this project to our client’s schedule.
