Steve Tomasone, the founder of Southwest Companies, has been with the company for 38 years and currently serves as the Preconstruction Manager. With 52 years of construction experience, Steve assists Project Managers with proposals and daily project management.

He learned various construction trades from his father since childhood, providing a strong foundation for his extensive career. Steve finds satisfaction in a job done well and enjoys helping his coworkers meet their goals. Driven by the value of accountability, he takes pride in strategizing clients’ construction processes and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending time with his family and home. A memorable project for Steve is the North Point parking garage metal roof renovation, which still looks brand new 20 years later due to the team’s excellent workmanship.

Being part of growing Southwest Companies from its inception is a significant accomplishment he holds dear, and he continues to help exceed customer expectations through timely and efficient proposals and recommendations.
