Michael Tomasone

Michael Tomasone serves as President of Southwest Companies Inc. Starting as a teenager on job sites, he worked his way through every role in the company before stepping into leadership — gaining a firsthand understanding of what it takes to do the job right at every level. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton.

Guided by values of honesty, hard work, and high ethical standards, Michael finds deep satisfaction in solving complex building challenges and developing construction solutions that stand the test of time. A firm believer in the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) — a practical business management framework built around Vision, Traction, and Healthy teams — Michael serves as SWC’s Visionary, setting the direction for where the company is headed and ensuring every part of the organization is aligned to get there.

His focus extends beyond any single project — it’s about building a company that creates lasting opportunities for its people and raises the standard for every client SWC serves. The revitalized buildings that mark the Cleveland skyline stand as a lasting testament to that commitment.

Outside of work, Michael loves spending time with his family and skiing in the winter.
