Parking Lot Repairs at Fat Head’s Brewery: Keeping Customers Safe
A well-maintained parking lot is essential for safety and curb appeal. When Fat Head’s Brewery noticed sinking areas in their parking lot creating trip hazards, they turned to us for a fast and effective solution.
Fat Head’s Brewery needed repairs in two areas of their parking lot where the asphalt had started to sink, creating uneven surfaces that posed a risk to pedestrians and vehicles. Our team stepped in to level the lot, ensuring it was smooth and safe without disrupting the brewery’s daily operations.
We began the project by carefully planning and coordinating with the brewery to determine the best time to repair the parking lot while minimizing inconvenience. Our crew mobilized to the site and set up the necessary staging and barricades to keep the area secure. Once the site was prepared, we used mechanical milling equipment to remove the sinking asphalt in the affected areas, eliminating the trip hazards and creating a stable foundation for the new material. After clearing away all debris, we air-cleaned the surface to ensure proper adhesion for the next step.
To reinforce the repairs, we applied a cold-weather tack coat, which helps bond the new asphalt to the existing surface. We then placed a durable, weather-resistant asphalt patch designed for longevity. The final step involved compacting the newly patched areas with a roller, creating a smooth and even finish.
By addressing these hazards, we helped Fat Head’s Brewery maintain a safe and welcoming environment for its patrons. Parking lot maintenance may not always be top of mind, but it’s crucial for a business’s safety and appearance!
